Community Learning Alternatives (hastings County and District)

CLA is an adult skills training program located in Belleville and Trenton with satellite service in Madoc. Adult learners participate in training designed to improve their reading writing math and digital skills. CLA encourages learning by supporting experiential learning opportunities. CLA works collaboratively with our school board adult programs employment services and other community partners to ensure the needs of adult learners in our area are met. We participate in the development and delivery of new ventures. We offer small group classes on computer skills communication customer service and financial literacy. CLA has made changes to allow for the virtual delivery of our programs and we now offer in-person virtual and hybrid options for our learners.
