Community Foundation of Medicine Hat and Southeastern Alberta

The community foundation of medicine hat & southeastern alberta (cfsea) is committed to growing a permanent legacy which strengthens the quality of life in southeastern alberta. We do this by 1. Working with donors to assist them to achieve their philanthropic goals; 2. Making grants to local qualified donees; 3. Convening community to build partnerships and collaborations to address emerging issues and thereby ensure our regional area continues to be a strong thriving and healthy community. We achieve these roles through a number of ongoing programs such a legacy partnership to create and build permanent endowments with two annual grant making cycles and a proactive grants program called vital impact. In addition vital signs is a comprehensive annual quality of life report that provides the foundation and our community with a huge amount of local knowledge and information. In acheiving these roles and programs and community foundation is grateful for the hundreds of hours provided by our dedicated board members.
