Community Foundation of Castlegar & District

(a) To operate as a charitable institution without profit to its members within the City of Castlegar and Electoral Areas I and J of the Regional District of Central Kootenay; (b) To secure donations of money or property large or small whether intended for specific purposes or not including from individuals businesses trusts and community organizations for the purpose of establishing a permanent capital fund; (c) To gift funds to qualified donees as defined in subsection 149.1(1) od the Income Tax Act; (Amended 7 May 2013) Gave grants to several non-profits which are listed on the T1236 form. Each member of the foundation is a volunteer positions. Board meetings are held monthly but committee meetings are held at various times by various members so hard to determine the amount of time volunteered. No new programs
