Community Connection

Community connection is an information referral and assistance organization established in 1969 offering a community helpline and referral service. Community connection's core competencies are based on international standards and accreditation through the alliance of information and referral systems (airs.org). Community connection is a member of 211 ontario and 211 canada networks operating the national 24/7 information and referral helpline 2-1-1 through phone and text and online information and referral through internet based search email and chat services within a shared service delivery model. Community connection collaborates with many community-based organizations providing information referral and assistance within joint service delivery and shared case-management activities to address issues that have a critical impact on vulnerable residents in the communities it serves (e.g. Disaster response homelessness health and poverty).
