Capsa strive to empower individuals impacted by addiction by providing opportunities to integrate into the broader community through peer support initiatives and community engagement projects. We support all pathways to recovery and endeavour to collaborate with other organizations that provide services for those in need of help. In addition to delivering on-site education presentations to organizations across canada and publishing stigma content on the internet capsa orrganizes its annual recovery day community event in the month of september. Capsa's purpose in hosting the event is to help reduce stigma about addiction and raise awareness about recovery in our community. Our goal is to engage the broader community by building partnerships with local provincial and national organizations and raising awareness through our be an ally public awareness campaign. In addition to recovery day a number of other smaller events take place throughout the year.
