Work continue on readying matheson creek camp to open and meet ministry of environment regulations. A watershed was built at the well site a uv system was engineered and installed. It passed the engineers inspection however a means to power the system has proved to be an obstacle. This problem carried forward to 2025. Creek restoration on the camp property was begun and facility repairs continued. Began planning a brochure to highlight the charity's campsites and cultural focuses. Struck a committee to plan a grand open house to showcase the facility once final approval is received from the various ministries in spring 2025 to the public and interested user groups. A master naturalist joined us having great interest in running programs in future. A winter snowshoe mammal tracking hike and winter bird count event were all very successful and brought new people to the property. Many more programs are planned in the future.
