Ckua is a donor- supported arts organization that inspires and connects through the power of music arts culture and story. With a focus on musical discovery we showcase the best creative work from alberta and beyond and deliver it on-air online and in-person. Ckua radio is a community supported alberta broadcasting service that enriches lives and advances the public's appreciation of music and arts and culture by presenting diverse music and original programming that entertains inspires enlightens and educates the public in the following ways: 1) by providing commentary and news about music arts and culture events and artists 2) by presenting high-quality performance through radio and other media programming that promote local emerging and/or canadian artists 3) by producing and presenting live music and culture events school programs and public tours 4) advancing education in music and related field by providing students with in-field placements guided tours and other support programs and the public with educational material and resources such as a music archive and library. 5) by partnering with other organizations on initiatives to promote and strengthen the music arts and cultural communities in alberta. Serve the public of alberta 6) providing the community with performance venues and related facilities.
