City Mosaic Church

During the fiscal year City Mosaic Church continued to benefit both church attendees and the surrounding community. There are various ways we do this which include: providing a meeting place for young and old to build friendships and community and to grow spiritually; assisting the community centre with community events; and meeting physical needs of church attendees as needed. City Mosaic Church also provides a place for people to put their musical talents to use and contribute in other practical ways to the life of the community. Our discipleship and connect ministries exist to strengthen relationships. Personal and marriage counselling as well as weddings funerals and other church services exist for church attendees as well. City Mosaic Church is developing several outreach initiatives alongside the Marlborough Community Centre with the aim of establishing lasting community relationships and partnerships. Two focus areas are: a moms and tots group for new immigrants to Canada who are learning English; a games day where participants are invited to work on their social skills. Two new focus areas are reaching out to immigrant children with events that facilitate growth would be one day fun days and offering community to otherwise socially isolated or shut in individuals.
