Organize events to celebrate and promote the diversity and richness of frnech languaage cinema for francophones francophiles film lovers by inviting filmmakers special guests to engage in a dialogue (q&a) on variou aspects of their films and approaches to topics; -use of films as a powerful tool for communications language practice and understanding of background cultures; -coordinate events with french speaking organizations in canada (quebec new brunswick) to promote national francophone cinema and further friendship with the province of ontario. -conduct events to foster and develop a taste for french language cinema by maintaining francophone activities year round. -form forward-thinking partneships in co-presentations and cultural exchanges to enhance our local presence the international profile of toronto in canada and in the worldwide community; -provide opportunities to meet native speakers to all other segments of the population; -conduct events to enable francophones to strengthen their cultural identity connect and gather in a meaningful way as a minority; -showcase franco ontarian franco canadian and international francophone films to emphasize the riches of francophones creative talents and accomplishments.
