Christian Music Society 'Concordia'

We are a wind band that provides musical concerts in seniors' centres hospitals extended care facilities and the like. We provide these concerts on a non-profit basis to people who otherwise would not have access to live music. In order to provide a good musical experience using volunteer amateur adult musicians the concordia community band hold weekly rehearsals under the direction of a professional conductor. New musicians are always welcome to join what is a friendly recreational community. The band provides the opportunity for all levels of musicians to improve their musical skills enjoy a community and contribute to society through the charitable concerts. Last year we gave over 10 concerts and went to 8 different senior retirement residences. Band bookings for the 2024-25 season have already started and we expect to be at least as busy this year particularly during the christmas season.
