Choirs Ontario is an arts service organization dedicated to the promotion of choral activities and group singing in various forms. Our members represent people who are leaders volunteers enthusiasts and participants in a wide range of vocal music and choral programs including school choirs community choral groups church choirs post-secondary music programs and professional music circles. Choirs Ontario provides services to choirs conductors composers administrators and educators as well as the general public. Choirs Ontario offers: - Education and training programs for conductors and choristers (Ontario Youth Choir): - Music Lending Library - Choral Composition Competitions - Leadership Awards - Online and in-person workshops - Choral-Focussed Publication (Dynamic newsletter) - Information and Referral Services - Administration Assistance to Choirs (webinars and other publications) - Website with choral news job postings concert listings and other information For 24-25 Choirs Ontario is expanding its festival offering to produce the Ontario Youth TREBLE Festival to be held in Ottawa and Toronto on Mar 2 2025 with international guest artist Cristian Grases and involving many advanced treble choirs from the GTA and Ottawa regions. Choirs Ontario is committing to a monthly member’s event to promote connection support and new initiatives in the choir community.
