Chilliwack Restorative Justice and Youth Advocacy Association

Restorative response offers a way to repair harm before charges are laid. It's an alternative to the criminal justice system that resolves conflict while keeping those responsible in their homes as they continue to work or attend school. Restorative response creates a dialogue among those responsible those harmed as well as community leaders law enforcement officers and restorative justice facilitators. Together they work toward a resolution and avoid criminalcharges and the potentially devasting long-term impacts of a criminal record. The restorative school program allows teachers counsellors youth care workers and students to respond to and prevent harm and conflict with circle led conversations.
