Cheticamp Association for Rights Education and Support

CARES has been engaged for over three decades as a non profit organization providing care and support to our participants in the pursuit of quality living work and vocational experiences within Cheticamp and surrounding areas. The Board of Directors oversees the operation of an Adult Service Centre (The Green Door) and three group homes (Le Chemoi La Maison Roderigue and La Résidence Cap Rouge). The leadership team for the day to day operation of the four facilities consists of an Executive Director Manager of Bookkeeping four supervisors and an Administrative Assistant. Every employee and volunteer aspires to be fully transparent reliable and supportive in our endeavour to provide the best quality of service to our residents and participants. We respect all individuals ideas and opinions and treat our co-workers our residents and participants their families and all other stakeholders respectfully.
