Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation

Chatham-kent health alliance foundation ('foundation') continues to support the chatham-kent health alliance ('ckha') which encompasses two sites chatham and wallaceburg in achieving its goal of core services exellence top-flight operation performance and to becoming a facility of choice in southwestern ontario. With limited government funding ckha relies on the generosity of the community to raise funds for the purchase of essential medical equipment. The role of the foundation is to facilitate this fundraising: to be the link between donors and the hospital. The money that is donated helps to ensure the high level of healthcare residents of chatham-kent have come to expect of their local hospital and continues long into the future. The foundation is responsible for collecting all donations and bequests and other gifts designated for use at one of the two sites. The foundation works closely with the hospital to fund priorities identified by ckha through consistent campaigns and activities special events community events along with ongoing programs and direct mail appeals in addition to the ongoing sales of lotteries.
