Champney's west heritage group is committed to the preservation and promotion of the heritage of the community and the regionthrough the development and operation of educational focused facilities. These facilities convey the cultural heritage of the people the history of the community and the methods used to forge a living. They also convey the relationship between the past and present residents of the community with the marine ecology of the area and aquatic life found in the region. All activities around theheritage house (museum) marine aquarium archaelogical site and trail are supported by staff and volunteers.
