Chamber Orchestra of Edmonton Society

The Chamber Orchestra of Edmonton produced four live concerts between September 1 2023 and August 31 2024 including 4 soloists. We continue to support emerging artists both in the ensemble and as soloists as well as presenting a new composition from a Canadian composer. There were 20 Volunteers during the reporting period. They manage the orchestra's website social media communications with patrons 'front of the house for concerts' and the Board Members are all volunteers. We are exploring the feasibility of developing a cadre of young professional musicians to become accomplished chamber musicians and applying for grant funds to record of the new compositions written for the Chamber Orchestra of Edmonton since its inception in 2017.
