Chalice (canada) is a canadian catholic international charitable organization that sponsors over 49 000 children and elders in 15 countries. Through their sponsorship program chalice provides direct support to families primarily through women's accompaniment groups where mothers of sponsored children learn teach share encourage and strengthen each other in responding to the daily challenges of living in conditions of national poverty. While focusing on child education nutrition and health care programs and material supports chalice also offers human development programs to enhance employment business and agriculture skills.
