1. To provide education counselling and other support services for immigrants and refugees in need including language instruction employment training job search programs translation services and information programs on canadian culture and life. 2. To advance education by: a. Providing leadership and skills development training as well as employability training tomuslim women; b. Promoting positive inter-cultural relations and dialogue in society generally and in local communities specifically as well increasing the public's awareness on challenges faced by the muslim community as it relates to islamophobia racism xenophobia sexism gender bias cultural and ethnic discrimmination as well as family conflicts by offering workshops seminars and lectures and similar events of interest to the public; and c. Providing bursaries to eligible candidates to be used for leadership development programs.
