The mission of the native friendship centre of montreal is to promote develop and enhance the quality of life in the urban indigenous community of montreal. The nfcm is a quasi-consular point of service and referral in the greater montreal area (gma) for indigenous persons in the transition to or through the urban environment in realation to areas of health social services legal orientation/information education training an employment. The centre offers programs which include a drop-in-day centre mobile intervention unit cultural activities and health supports.
