Central Okanagan Foundation

1. Inform & educate the public on community foundations and the positive effects of endowment contributions. 2. Make grants to qualified donees who provide services to the community. 3. Administer on behalf of municipal government granting programs which include grants to qualifying npos in the fields of community social development. 4. Make grants to designated beneficiaries who are qualified donees. 5. Receive donations from donors and municipal governments for immediate distribution to qualified donees. 6. Maintain and enhance relationships with charities within our geographic service area. 7. Partnerships with other charities to deliver education programs to improve the quality of charitable management. 8. Manage reaching home strategy for kelowna as community entity - a program of the government of canada.
