Effective april 23 2023 caven presbyterian church was amalgamated with st. Paul's presbyterian church nobleton ontario. In accordance with the terms of the amalgamtion and applicable church governance the remaining assets of caven presbyterian church were distributed in 2023 to two qualified entities: a portion was given to st. Paul's presbyterian church nobleton ontario as a gift to a qualified donees and a portion was granted to the presbytery of oak ridges the regional ecclesiastical authority under the qualifying disbursement regime. Caven presbyterian church was subsequently revoked as a registered charity by the canada revenue agancy for failure to file its annual return effective august 14 2024.
