1) We operate support and accountability groups (Circles) of 3-4 volunteers who assist an individual sexual offender through weekly meetings and one-on-on contacts to safely and successfully reintegrate into the community. In order to facilitate these groups we recruit screen obtain clearance for and provide training (both basic and advanced) to the volunteers who serve on the support and accountability Circles. We interview and screen ex-offenders who are referred to the program by staff of correctional institutions as well as community correctional staff. 2) We advance education of the reintegration program by giving presentations on the CoSA program at universities and service clubs as well as to parole officers and other staff in the justice system.
