Our mandate is to partner with individuals groups and agencies in building socially stable communities by providing support and services to the marginalized groups who face multiple barriers in accessing services within their communities. Our target population includes youth seniors and their families including Black-African and Caribbean descents. Our services offered include - educational workshops recreational programs socialization activities supportive counselling and poverty alleviation programs which include promoting food security and healthy eating. Our Seniors Connect program creates a safe and friendly environment where seniors are welcome to socialize increase their learnings and access beneficial supports and services that promote healthy living and quality of life. Our Youth Employment Program provides quality workplace experience to support youth ages 15 to 30 to develop and improve their employability skills through coaching and mentorship. The Early Post-Secondary School Success Mentorship (EP3SM) is an initiative that allows students ages 14 to 19 to ask important questions and participate in opportunities and learning skills that help with their transition to post-secondary school. In addition to the ongoing-program we have other new programs coming up which include Seniors Computer/Digital Literacy Financial Literacy Wellness Check and COVID-19 Food/Grocery Vouchers Support Programs for our seniors which we think will help to strength and keep them safe during this challenging pandemic period.
