Carty house operates a temporary communal home providing room and board for female refugees and immigrants. Carty house also provides language instruction employment training job search assistance and information on canadian culture and life either through volunteers or through referrals to the appropriate agencies. In 2024 a 2nd location was opened to accommodate an additional 15 beds.
