All our programs are geared to reducing poverty under six areas: food security supporting emotional health education & training transportation affordable recreation & housing. We have built and monitor 2 vegetable stands where in season produce is provided as availbale for the use of anyone interested. Food currency where vouchers are provided to low income families for use at the local market garden community suppers once per month where groceries and provided and volunteers and community members cook and share dinner. Id fairs to enable people to acquire their manitoba health cards etc. Kick sleds to local recreation centre for free borrowing. Free games night and resilience training. We are now operating a food pantry every 4 weeks. We continue to do programming for mental health and also a course on food preservation.
