Care Centre Ottawa

Care centre ottawa exists to provide immediate relief in the form of food support to those facing food insecurity in the ottawa region with dignity and excellence while offering community and capacity building programming to help individuals and families move towards brighter futures. The care centre ottawa hosts marketplace where guests are invited to shop in our full choice food pantry and connect with others while enjoying a meal at our care cafe. Our food bank services are also provided through our outdoor walk-up/drive-thru model and our senior delivery program. In addition system navigation support is provided and referrals are made to various organizations and social supports in the community. Volunteers assist with processing incoming donations stocking shelves and serving various capacities within our full choice food pantry care cafe and drive-thru/walk-up food bank. Volunteers visit with guests assist with gues registration and help with clean up tear down and set up of day-to-day activities. Volunteers also assist with picking up donations building and delivering senior care boxes and participating at special events and take-out meal programs.
