Capital city mission inc. (ccm) operates a drop-in centre in ottawa's lowertown. We support everyone - irrespective of race religion gender and sexual orientation - as they deal with physical social and spiritual needs. Through friendship we begin to learn the needs of our neighbours and we meet these needs in specific ways. At hte drop-in we serve coffee and a light lunch each day. The drop - in is a first point of contact for many searching for health care addiction services mental health support and housing options many of our friends struggle with mental health issues and addictions resulting in isolation from the broader community. Our purpose is to provide a safe quiet and respectful space that fosters friendships and community.
