Cape Breton Family Resource Coalition Society

The mandate of the organization is to promote the health & well being of families with children 0-16 years of age. We offer prenatal program. We do developmentally appropriate programs such as baby talk playgroups which involve both parent & child participate. We offer free nature discovery programs for children of all ages plus their parents/caregivers we offer a fun opportunity for parents caregivers & children to come together to grow a garden. Parent support & parent education groups sucha s home visiting parent journey & enhanced home visitiing and other adult based work are a huge part of what we do. Child poverty food security programs are also key to our ongoing efforts we also offer babysitting & first aid training we are also involved with the family home child care program.
