Canmore Folk Music Festival Society

Annual music festival: we put on our annual festival august 5-7 2023. We had a free event on the friday (aug 4) then the main festival with 4 stages august long weekend. For the free friday concert the evening featured local and indigenous performers as well as a main act we also gave out scholarships to high school students who are pursing music for their careers. We added a new one evening event called 'the warm up'at the end of february in partnership with the town of canmore. For this first year tickets were free and we had an amazing turout.
