Canadians for Love of Humanity (cloh)

No ongoing programs at this time. November 1-december 21 2024 cloh executed an emergency hunger palliative program (hpp) providing food and monetary aid to for communities in s.e. Nigeria: ndidiaha/umukima and ezu-na-erim in nsirimo abia state; umumbiri op-1 ekwereazu in imo state and akpa isiak ikono lga in akwa ibom state food insecurity was driven by: (1) socio-economic challenges of incomplete economic recovery from the covid-19 global pandemic; (2) impacts of unemloyment/inflation on income; and (3) regional insecurities from counter-militant activities. Local field partners and team leaders facilitated logistics of (1) identification and consultation with food-insecure communities on their needs; (2) researching and communicating real-time competitive local-market food-pricing and budgeting with cloh; (3) procurement sorting transport and delivery of food indexed to community needs and market flux; and (4) financial reporting and budget reconciliation with cloh.
