Canadian Nurses for Africa

Provide basic medical care public health education and other associated programs in a field setting to persons in africa who do not have the means to access health care at even the most basic level. Free medical care is provided by our volunteers to the sick including medications treatments wound care diagnostics and follow-up care. In addition the organization provides sexual health teaching basic health teaching de-worming and the treatment of patients with 'jiggers'. Cnfa also strives to enhance the quality of life for certain patients by providing funding for mobility devices and services such as crutches and wheelchairs to the public attending clinics.
