The association works to improve the lives of all ontarions through leadership collaboration and the continual pursuit of excellence in community mental health ans addiction services. The association envisions a society that embraces and invests in the mental health of all people and values self-determination diversity and inclusion social justice innovation ans collabration. Activities include but are not limited to policy research and development and advocacy and media awareness. Ongoing programs include the bounce back program whereby two levels of evidence-based structuredm cognitive-behavioural self-help is offered to those with mild-moderate depression with or without anxiety; health in the workplace programs; centre for innovation and campus mental health; mood walks; living life to the full; support for both the mental health and addictions leadership advisory committee and the provincial human services & justice coordinating committee; resilient minds and the in the know program; the mental health works program for frontline health care workers and the farmers wellness initiate and the farmers guardian network; mental health and justice inventory program and the community reintegration planning tables program.
