We offer educational events including a regional conferences monthly support groups peer support education materials patient information educational webinars a weekly newsletter a podcast a financial assistance program higher education scholarships a residence research grant research support and assistance special advocacy and awareness initiatives plasma awareness initiative: this initiative trains patients who use plasma products to help raise awareness of the growing need for plasma in canada. This program was developed to help educate on what plasma is what it is used for and how it is made into a medicinal product in the treatment of primary immunodeficiency disease. It is now being used by canadian blood services as a pilot for other patient organizations on how to incorporate plasma awareness and donation into their volunteer strategy
