Canadian Hard of Hearing Association-North Shore Branch

The Canadian Hard of Hearing Association - North Shore Branch is a Consumer Support Group for Hard of Hearing persons. Programs include public workshops and presentations on hard of hearing related issues publishing a quarterly informational newsletter taking phone calls and emails to answer hearing related questions from individuals. We provide publications and brochures. We offer in-home technical assistance to individuals with hearing technology and technical assistance to churches and public buildings with induction loop systems and other hearing assistance systems. We provide an annual scholarship to post secondary hard of hearing students through a donation to a qualified donee. We maintain a website providing information on many hearing related issues to benefit individuals with new hearing loss issues to long term users experiencing problems with hearing loss. All of our services are free snd carried out by volunteers.
