1) Training program: Dogs are trained to work as Guide Dogs and Assistance Dogs. 2) Puppy Walker program: Volunteer program fostering puppies in family homes form 2 months to approximately 14 months of age with basic obedience training and social integration being the key functions of the foster homes. 3) Matching program: Dogs and visually impaired clients throughout Canada are carefully matched according to personality and environmental needs. 4) Residential program: Training session for visually impaired clients with their guide dogs to become an independent unit. 5) After care program: Visiting clients and their guide dogs in their home following graduation to ensure the compatibility of the client and the dog to their new environment. 6) Domiciliary training program: Training clients and their guide dogs in their home in the Ottawa area. 7) Assistance Dog Division: Home based training program for clients within 200 km of Ottawa with mobility challenges. 8) Breeding program.
