About Canadian Global Response
CGR is actively engaged in community development and crisis response across Venezuela and Canada. In Venezuela we operate the Soup of Love program to provide daily nutritious meals to children seniors and vulnerable families. We also run Bread of Hope a bakery initiative that produces affordable bread for low-income communities and Sewing the Future which offers vocational training in sewing to empower women with income-generating skills. In Ontario we support children from immigrant and low-income families through educational and recreational activities that promote inclusion and development. Across Canada CGR responds to natural disasters such as wildfires and floods by providing emergency food hygiene supplies and other basic needs in collaboration with local partners. CGR implements impactful programs in Venezuela and Quebec focused on meeting basic needs and promoting sustainable development. In Venezuela initiatives include Soup of Love Bread of Hope agriculture projects Sewing the Future and a Collective Kitchen supporting food security skill-building and economic opportunity.
