Quaker work is a timeless because of our values. Everything we do a cfsc is an expression of peace integrity equality simplicity and respect for all creation central to our work are the relationships of trust and respect that we build seeking always to engage and bring people together. What one of our partners calls cfsc's 'measured and disciplined approach' has contributed to big things. From supporting those affected by war to winning improved recognition for the human rights of all we've been part of major positive changes since our founding in 1931. Presently cfsc is offering the following programs: o community-based work to prevent repair and move beyond harm when crimes are committed o support for alternatives to imprisoning caregivers of children o work in partnership with indigenous peoples towards the full implementation of the un declaration on the rights of indigenous peoples o encourage and educate canadians to engage with the truth and reconciliation commission calls to action o peace education and skills building in canada israel/palestine and burundi o additional support for the conditions required for justice and peace in canada in keeping with quaker testimonies.
