Canadian Connections: Welcoming Refugees Home

Digital access program: providing refurbished laptops to refugees; gift card program: providing gift cards for the purchase of food clothing etc; move program: sourcing and delivering high-quality used furniture and other household items to refugees. Partnering with community agencies to offer programming outside our sphere (e.g. Mental health workshops for refugee women low-cost 1-1 and small group language classes registering for refugee housing delivery of food hampers). 'women in action': this involves canadian connections hiring refugee women for paid 1-year internships giving the 'canadian work experience' and teaching basic administrative skills.
