Canadian Bureau for the Advancement of Music

Provides music education in elementary schools-both public and catholic school boards. -students are taught in small groups and attend classes at lunch hour and after school -christmas and year end recitals are offered. Also participate in music festivals. -cbam has its own eight level curriculum in piano performance and written music theory. -annual practical and theory exams are offered to the students. -cbam trains qulified music teachers in the 'art of group instruction'
