Organize and coordinate national and international conferences exchanges and scholarships which focus on citizenship leadership development career choices technology and other pressing issues being faced by today's rural communities and their young people. -promote the visibility of 4-h through national public relations initiatives facilitates communication and information sharing between the provincial 4-h programs develops recruitment and other rescource materials and operates the national 4-h store a mail order catalogue featuring 4-h promotional items. -increase 4-h members understanding of agricultural issues canadian political issues and potential career choices. -opportunity for 4-h members to travel and learn about other regions lifestyles and cultures in canada. -provide 4-h leaders with an opportunity to increase their knowledge and sharpen their leadership and communication skills. -encourage 4-h members to set higher educational goals. -provide 4-h members the opportunity to travel outside of canada to learn about agriculture and experience new cultures. -to increase 4-h youth membership through funding support of local existing and new 4-h clubs.
