The organization publishes 'canada's history' magazine and 'kayak: canada's history magazine for kids' and provides the public and educators with an online portal at canadashistory.ca and histoirecanada.ca. The organization administers the governor general's history awards which includes awards for excellence in: teaching popular media scholarly research museums and community programming and delivers several national awards programs for students. Canada's history strengthens the national network of heritage fair organizations across the country through educational rescources and volunteer support.
