Camp Medley

Operation of a summer camp for children ages 6-17. Activities include: canoeing swimming archery various sports and crafts programs. Programs are aimed at building on a commitment to personal self development such as christian education and worship and group dynamics in a working or shared environment. The program includes a counselor-in-training camp for those interested in future work in a youth camp environment either at camp medley or elsewhere. The season starts with a 'family camp' aimed at providing a multi-generational camping experience in a christian setting for families. The goal is to continue to work with parishes and provide leadership & support so that the program can continue without the active involvement of the camp medley staff. Camp medley has opened up its facilities during the off-season (september to mid-june) to accommodate other school groups international students organization meetings and events. Wedding ceremonies are also a part of this off-season and make use of the on-site chapel.
