Monthly speakers series whereby guest presenters speak on natural history scientific research and travel topics related to nature. Weekly field trips (numerous per week) to parks and green spaces in and around Calgary for bird watching botany teaching and general nature education. Weekly bird study groups led by enviromentalists who teach attendees how to recognize different birds visually by habitat and by bird sounds. Nature Kids field trips specifically for members and their younger children where they learn about environmental stewardship and encouraging exploration in their own neighbourhoods. Public events specific to nature the changing environment and climate. For example Nature Fest. Financial support for school programs that focus on the local environment including birds plants bugs etc. Financial support for community programs that focus on the environment.
