Burnside Gorge Community Association

Burnside Gorge Community Association provides a wide range of programs and services for children youth families and seniors in the Greater Victoria area. Programming includes: Daycare for children 30 months to 5 years; before and after school care and Pro-D winter spring and summer camps; housing and financial support for families; support for parents whose children are in government care or at risk of going into care; community and school based support to high risk youth; family development and outreach; drop-ins and early childhood education to parents of children under six; free community dinners and clothing and food resource programs including Christmas hampers; financial literacy and asset development program for youth and families; recreation health and wellness programming for children youth and adults; community improvement projects such as environmental restoration and protection food security community safety and family focused events enlisting the help of over 200 volunteers.
