provide food shelter & medical care for lost abandoned & mistreated pets in Burlington area until suitable permanent homes can be found for them -ensure all animals in our care receive any necessary veterinary care including vaccinations and if of age are spayed or neutered -provide pet therapy programs to nursing homes & hospitals -provide education programs to schools -educate the public regarding their responsibilities of pet ownership -provide volunteer opportunities for students requiring volunteer time
