Public awareness about severe and persistent mental illness - support families indirectly through public policy advocacy and education/awareness campaigns - in-person and virtual support for families across the province via family support groups and one-on-one support - education and support for children and youth through kids tweens and teens in control programs and drop-in sessions - provide education programs for families through the strengthening families together programs - increase awareness about severe and persistant mentall illness and bcss services through the bcss partnership education program (pep) and other presentations within bc communities - education scholarship administration for individualswith schizophrenia - ongoing education and information dissemination - newsletters websites social media channels public events videos and a podcast - work closley with the community partners to advance key initiatives affecting families in bc with a loved one with a serious mental illness including other non-proft organizations psychiatrists and other researchers
