As they do every year our dedicated group of staff and volunteers worked tirelessly to ensure the health and safety of our clients volunteers and staff in 2024 while ensuring that our clients consisting of persons with a wide range of disabilities had a great time hiking paddling and biking. In the summer of 2024 766 program activities took place. The paddling program included 579 excursions for 233 paddlers and kayakers while our hiking program delivered 134 hikes for 86 participants. Both programs also offered dedicated 'Kids Days' for younger clients to experience nature and physical activity. In its first full season as part of BCMOS’ regular programming the BCMOS program delivered 53 cycling sessions for 26 persons with disabilities throughout the summer.
