1. Preserve conserve and maintain and operate in consultation with the province of british columbia and the community the collections of historical objects at its facility in the cowichan valley as a memorial to the pioneers of the forest sector and develop a living museum for the purpose of illustrating the interrelationship of people and the forest environment 2. Exhibit to the general public the collections of historical artifacts related for the forestry industry 3. Acquire other related objects and articles for display and exhibition to the public.
