British Columbia Easter Seal Society

The society's mission is to give hope and a safe place for families to stay when they have to leave their own city and come to vancouver for medical care and treatment. Easter seals house is an affordable comfortable home-away-from-home that people can rely on during very stressful times in their lives. The house is located blocks away from the best hospitals and treatment centres in vancouver making it easy for guests and caregivers to travel to and from. With 49 suites east seals house has everything from in-suite kitchenettes to onsite laundry children's playroom recreational lounges wi-fi housekeeping services and the friendliest staff who become like family. The society in collaboration with bc housing and the coast mental health opened its doors to housing british columbians suffering from mental illnesses. The house provides clean safe secure and friendly living accommodations and with the new revived garden all guests can enjoy the outdoor areas consisting of a sitting and bbq area playground for the kids and beautiful scenery of plants and the trees. While still supporting housing crises easter seals is still able to service our ongoing programs.
