In Canada through our Smiling Kids program we provided two types of support to low-income families. Firstly we offered financial assistance and culturally sensitive food hampers to alleviate food insecurity. Secondly under the same program we supported low-income immigrant mothers who recently had a baby. These mothers received a 'WrappedBum Box' containing essential items such as diapers wipes baby soap shampoo lotion and other necessary supplies to support them in caring for their newborns. Education Suport : We offer school supplies to children from francophone communities. In the Democratic Republic of Congo through our Economic Empowerment Program Capitalization of Local-Breed Goat Farming Initiative we run two initiatives to support vulnerable populations. Firstly we assisted vulnerable women in Musenge Village North Kivu in starting goat rearing farming to generate sustainable income. Secondly we supported vulnerable families in Musenge Village Territory of Walikale Province of North Kivu by providing financial assistance and school supplies to ensure their children could access education. There was no new program in 2024.
